With a single click users can deploy their surveys created in Q’Create (Plenari’s questionnaire design program) to a hand-held PC for CAPI. Here, surveys will have the look and feel of a web survey, but they just happen to be deployed on a hand-held PC.

Once completed, CAPI Agent will seamlessly transfer the collected data from the hand-held PC to a central database server. Once uploaded, 24-7 reports are also available directly through CAPI Agent. These are static reports specified as tables or bar graphs, updated continuously as interviews are completed.

With the convergence of CAPI and Web, a further alternative becomes available within the Plenari suite. It is certainly possible for users with hand-held PCs that are connected to a wireless network to simply use Web Agent, rather than CAPI Agent.

Whichever “agent” is employed the collected data ends up sitting on the central database server and then within seconds can be exported to Plenari Investigator, SPSS or Excel.

This seamless integration from questionnaire design to data collection, through data transformation to data analysis is the essence of Plenari.
